MX Telecom MMS HTTP Interface

Overview

The MX Telecom MMS Gateway enables you to send and receive MMS messages over a custom HTTP protocol. These pages detail the format of the HTTP requests which can be made to the MX Telecom MMS Gateway.

The most common method of connecting to the MX Telecom MMS Gateway is through the use of HTTP GET requests.

Features

The MX Telecom MMS Gateway supports the following for the HTTP protocol:

• HTTP or HTTPS (Secure SSL) GET or Multipart POST requests
• HTTP 1.1 for persistent connections
• MMS and SMS

Requirements

• Ability to send standard Web HTTP or HTTPS GET requests.
• For extra security, submit a whitelist of one or more IP addresses from which MMS requests for your account will be accepted (optional)
