OpenMarket Wins Mobile Entertainment Award for its Gimme Credit Coca-Cola Campaign

OpenMarket named Best Transaction Provider at the Mobile Entertainment Awards for its innovative mobile crediting promotional campaign

OpenMarket, the UK's leading mobile transaction hub, today announced it has won the prestigious Mobile Entertainment Award for Best Transaction Provider with its hugely successful Gimme Credit Coca-Cola campaign.

OpenMarket was recognised for its Gimme Credit Coca-Cola campaign which ran throughout the summer months of 2009 and 2010 in association with mobile marketing agency Sponge. The crediting campaign enabled money to be added to both pre- and post-pay mobile accounts of Coca-Cola customers by redeeming unique promotion codes located on millions of cans and bottles of Fanta, Dr. Pepper and Sprite. The Gimme Credit campaign was UK's first cross-network mobile crediting promotion and helped raise brand awareness and increase customer uptake.
