Known Issues with MMS

There are some known technical issues with MMS, including the following:

• Care should be taken when attempting to submit messages > 100 KB as roughly half of handsets will not be able to display the message correctly. While messages to Three and Orange will always deliver (though Orange may repurpose the content) messages to other networks where the handset cannot hanndle the content will either be replaced with a notification SMS, arrive in a corrupt form, or disappear all together.
• All text contained in the MMS zip should be UTF-8 encoded.
• When sending 3gp video, for best results, the relevant manifest file entry should read your_file_name.3gp=video/3gpp
