Description of Role

The candidate will be working on the development of our core products and services across a variety of technologies and business areas including: SMS, MMS, Location Based Services, IVR/Telephony, Interactive TV and Value Added Services.

As a member of the tightly integrated technical team, work involves design, development, support and maintenance of existing and new projects both internally (on our core systems), and in a client-facing capacity (under our Application Development offering).

Experience and Skills Required

The candidate should be comfortable with working in a small, dynamic, busy company. They should be able to help set their own objectives within a rapidly changing framework and be persistent in pursuing them.

A solid understanding of software design and development methodologies, and the ability to work in teams or unsupervised on projects of varying scope is essential.

Use of Java (including Servlets, RMI and JDBC), HTML and SQL highly desirable. Proficiency with Linux, networking and distributed systems an advantage. Above all, the ability and desire to learn new skills and technologies through hands-on involvement in live projects.

You will need to be an enthusiastic Computer Science or Engineering Graduate from a top class university with A-Levels all at grade A or B (or equivalent).
